This release will be for bugfixes and minor improvements that just missed out on the Underworld 1.0.0 Release.
Importantly, it will contain a more rounded-out testing suite than milestone:"Underworld 1.0" .

This will an improved version of Underworld 1.0 with new features such as:
- Recovery Methods ( SPR & REP ) tested & working
- Dual-mesh refinement (eg refined temp mesh) benchmarked & working
- Viscoelastic capabilites merged in from ExperimentalUnderworld.
- A cleaner Matrix building system
- Better PETSc interoperability
And optionally:
- Refactored, more general Weighting system

Milestone: Underworld 2.0 (Beta)
2 years late (31/03/08)
This is a release of the code with several key improvements over the 1.x series:
- GeneralisedConstitutiveFramework? - majorly improved constitutive & equation solving components, with view to integration w/ high-level constitutive toolkits.
- MeshRefinement? capability - a basic AMR capability to allow resolving problems more efficiently.
Possible other improvements:
- A global particle weighting system, of the type pioneered by Dave May.
- The Multiscale modelling infrastructure, being pioneered in the Xanthus project.

A catchall for general support/maintenance, e.g. helping people install the code etc.
