Planning meeting b/w Pat and Ewan, 14 May 2007
- Pat gave Ewan a copy of Steve & Louis' scoping document, and emphasised the points in it should be taken into account in the plan
- We reviewed Ewan's analysis of gLucifer 1.0 and the responses from users. Ewan is to update this to show which suggested changes were from users, and which were his idea.
- Pat showed Ewan how to commit to the gLucifer Projects repos, and asked him to commit all current key docs there
- Pat showed Ewan the gLucifer Trac, and asked Ewan to add known issues to it.
- We created a branch of gLucifer called "gLucifer-2_0-Beta" for Ewan to experiment on.
- We agreed the road forward:
- Flesh out the gLucifer 2.0 design doc with the "advanced use case" we went through with Steve last week;
- Finish off the document analysing how the gLucifer 1.0 operations would be transformed in gLucifer 2.0
- Begin experimenting with prototype code to see if the current gLucifer 2.0 design holds water.
Next project meeting:
- @ Monash, Thursday the 24th of May.
- Would be good to have Louis involved (Pat to contact), and Julian
- Goal will be for Ewan to present the design document for gLucifer 2, showing analysis of how all the gLucifer 1.0 operations would look under the new table.
